Terrifying!

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”
- Ronald Reagan

The measure of a man...

“The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment.

No, the true measure of a man is this: how quickly can he respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give.”
– Philip K. Dick

Success...

“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”
– Winston Churchill

A mystically beautiful morning scene from a back porch in the West Midlands.A Personal Gallery

This is my art. Folks say they love what comes out of my head, although I think it is simply too weird for most folk, but, I like it. I just create what I do. Anyway, make of it what you will. The items shown here are pretty typical... some new, some old.

Works, Selected Randomly, Kind Of...

The Denon © Iggy F Makarevich

A photo I took long ago at a race for GTP cars at Lime Rock Park, my home track, which I’ve had the pleasure of driving a couple dozen times in various conveyances, ranging from a clapped-out BMW 2002 to a Mondiale SB-1.

I decided to have at it in Photoshop and Fireworks for a bit of fun and turned it into The Yellow Peril!

Nikon Nikomat FTN. Vivitar Series 1 28-105/2.8. Kodak stock. Ektaprint?

These days, nearly all of my artwork goes into High Strangeness Art, my store at Zazzle, so that people have the opportunity to enjoy it in a tangible way, whilst I receive a small benefit in revenue once in a while.

At least it keeps me out of some trouble...

Reptilian Repose © Iggy F Makarevich

And some wildlife photography, this is Reptilian Repose. These two little critters from the Isle of Roatan happily agreed to pose quite nicely for a portrait.

Lumix DMC-FZ50K. Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 7.4-88.8/2.8. Photoshop CS3E.

Ah, history. This, the least embarrassing of the old college projects, is an imaginary commercial done in Final Cut Pro 4; the score in Soundtrack. The VO... Sound Forge 6.
