It really all started back when Iggy Makarevich was a child. Armed with various pens, pencils and crayons, Iggy started drawing... with paper as the preferred medium, much to the delight of his parents. Reveling in this new expression, stop drawing he did not, and by elementary school had earned a reputation as an individualist.

As junior high turned to high school, latent technology affinities took control and Iggy turned to photography as a medium to satisfy his artistic needs and the newfound need for precision gear. Writing a column on stereo equipment for the high school paper, he developed a fondness for it and a style all his own. The spectacle of the feature film seared itself countless times into Iggy's brain, the enticing combination of high end technologies with narrative storytelling proved invincible and is a career goal which remains with him to this day.

After exhausting the film production and theory courses available and delighting in shooting, editing and recording, (including one interesting day where he nearly completely disassembled and promptly reassembled an Eclair NPR just for fun), a brief career as an audio rental technician preceded a stint as location VTR operator on a few TV shows and documentaries with odd jobs mixed in.

A long lull eventually turned Iggy reluctantly to the world of cars as a master technician and shop foreman for a while, the arts still bubbling in the background, bursting forth at one point serving as an editor and publisher, turning a car club's stapled newsletter into a nationally well-received magazine using the then brand new desktop publishing apps on both Macs and PCs, switching back and forth to try new things.

Experiences in recording studio education, high end sound system installation with a bit of mobile recording shop technician preceded further formal education in digital content creation, which Iggy had previously taught himself quite a bit of...

Which led not long after to the formation of IFM Productions in May of 2005, a multi-faceted multimedia firm offering an interesting mix of services to its clients, who range from a prominent Southern California multimedia marketing firm to private investigators, artists, a landscaper, health practitioners, a major car club and legal consultants in the area to private individuals seeking unique DVDs and other media.

IFM Productions was an LLC until September 30, 2009.
